Investing in talent is a top priority at Snakeware! We are very excited to welcome 5 talented interns to the Gashouder. These bright individuals have recently joined us and are eager to share who they are and why they want to develop within Snakeware.

Ilse

Hello, my name is Ilse Terpstra. I'm 22 years old and live in Sneek. Currently, I'm studying Creative Business at NHLStenden University in Leeuwarden, and I'm in my fourth year. This also means that I'll be doing my graduation project at Snakeware! Last year, during my third year, I successfully completed my minor in Marketing Communication and Content Marketing. Now, I hope to gain a lot of knowledge at Snakeware to successfully finish my last year. Besides my internship, I often spend my weekends with horses. In 2020, I co-founded a company with two partners. Through this company, I provide horse riding lessons, organize camps, and many other fun activities. In the coming months, I'll be working in Strategy & Marketing as an online marketing intern. I want to expand my knowledge of (online) marketing and can't wait to get started at Snakeware!

Yannicke

Hi! My name is Yannicke Boersma, I'm 25 years old, living in Leeuwarden, and I'm currently a third-year student in Communication at NHLStenden University. Last year, during a guest lecture, I got introduced to Snakeware, which sparked my interest in digital marketing. With a good dose of curiosity, I enjoy working on projects with an open perspective. I also have a passion for writing, something I'll be focusing on in the coming months. What I find most enjoyable about my internship at Snakeware so far? That would be the pleasant atmosphere in the workplace. While everyone works hard, there's also time for a game of table tennis or a trip to the ice cream parlor. Furthermore, I find it interesting to learn about how the world of digital marketing operates, and I'm well-supported by helpful colleagues. In the next four months, I want to delve deeper into topics like SEO, copywriting, and social media!

Tim

Hello, my name is Tim Eerdmans, I'm 18 years old, and I'm in the third year of my study in Commercial Economics at NHLStenden in Leeuwarden. I live in Sneek. In my free time, I play football with a friends' team at LSC. I also enjoy skiing, boating on the beautiful Frisian waters, and spending time with friends. I started my internship in online marketing at Snakeware after the summer. In an enthusiastic team, I hope to make a valuable contribution to the challenges of our clients. During my internship, I aim to learn a lot from the assignments where I can assist colleagues and advise clients. I'm really looking forward to my internship at Snakeware!

Robin

Hi, my name is Robin Hoogterp, I'm 19 years old, and I'm from Bolsward. Since September 1st, I've had the opportunity to intern at Snakeware as a Software Engineer. I'm very excited about this new challenge! Who am I, and why did I choose to intern at Snakeware? I'm a motivated and eager student currently studying Software Engineering at NHLStenden. I first met Snakeware during Connect.frl, an event organized by my school, and it didn't take long for me to decide. The enthusiastic employees, who I now have the pleasure of calling colleagues, were the deciding factor. Personally, I enjoy socializing, and Snakeware is the perfect place for that!

Tom

Hello! My name is Tom de Wind. I'm 18 years old and I live in Sneek. For the third and final year of my Mediavormgever (Media Designer) course at ROC Friese Poort in Sneek, I'll be interning at Snakeware for four months. I've always been fascinated by design from a young age, so it's exciting to join Jan-Hein's team and work on creating beautiful things together. In my free time, I love mountain biking, especially in the woods. I'm also into geocaching, a game where you search for hidden stashes in nature. I'm definitely an outdoorsy person. Furthermore, I've been playing the violin since I was five years old. I enjoy making music with others! I'm really looking forward to working with the whole team at the Gashouder over the next few months and discovering all the wonderful things Snakeware has to offer!
